LRW - Round & Round We Go

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is time for another challenge for Little Red Wagon, and Collette is our hostess this week.  She has us going in circles, literally.  For her challenge, she wants no sharp corners - so to me that means lots of circles :)

Winter is still thriving here in Ontario, so I thought another winter card was in order.  I used a cute Nerdy Snowman from C.C. Designs and created this round card!

I added some Glossy Accents to his glasses and wrapped the card front up in some twine.  I added a veneer snowflake and a little sparkle with some sequins.

This challenge was a lot of fun.  I was able to use many of my favourite things, including my new circle dies and my Silhouette.  Thank you Collette :)

I hope you will play along with us.  If you need some inspiration you can visit the other girlfriends and see what they created.  Be sure to link up your project over at the Little Red Wagon blog.

LRW - Washi Tape

This weeks challenge, for Little Red Wagon, is brought to us by Susie!!  She was just a little 'whishy washy' about what she wanted us to do, lol!!!

Actually, she wants us to dig into our Washi tape stash and create something fun!!  I love Washi tape, so that was easy.

I added a die-cut, a stamped sentiment and a pretty button with a twine bow.  Tada!!!!

Check out the girlfriends blogs to see what they have created and don't forget to link up to the Little Red Wagon blog!!

LRW - Peek A Boo

Hey friends!!  Today it is my turn to host the challenge over at Little Red Wagon.  It is a fun one, so I hope you will play along.

This week, I thought it would be fun to play 'peek a boo'.  What I mean is......your card should have some sort of window in it.  It doesn't have to be a 'real' window.....just something you can peek through.

Here is my card.....I created a background with cloud windows.

I framed my window by piercing some holes around the clouds.

I hope you will join in the fun and share your creation with us :).  Be sure to visit the other 'girlfriends' blogs and link up your creation over at the Little Red Wagon blog.

LRW - Winter Blues

We are right in the middle of the 'winter blues'. I am surrounded by people that are heading south to soak up the sun.....and I am stuck in the middle of icy cold temperatures and gray skies.  It's not so bad, and it is a great challenge for this week over at Little Red Wagon.

Tracy is our hostess and she want us to use mostly blue on our cards.  This was fun and a great way to use up scraps.  Here is my card......

I had a lot of fun rummaging through my scrap bin and finding some coordinating papers.  I created heart 'windows' and place the papers in behind them.  I even got out my embossing powder for the sentiment.

I hope you will join in on our challenge and create something to share with us.  Be sure to visit the 'girlfriends' blogs and link up your project over on the Little Red Wagon blog!!

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Crash Your Stash - Project #8

LRW - Shhhh! No Words At All

This week's challenge at Little Red Wagon is brought to us by the lovely Jan!!!  I think she is personally trying to torture me!!!  We are supposed to create a card/project with no words at all.......that is crazy!!  In real life, I am a talker.....so in my card life, I definitley like to add words for a sentiment.  It was tricky, but I did it!!!

Here is my card.....WITH NO WORDS AT ALL (that is me yelling, since we can't use any words on our card)!  I coloured this sweet snowman image.  He is actually waving 'Hi', but he has to act out the sentiment that I would have put right beside him.....see the empty space?

I used some natural twine and a wooden heart that I found in my stash and wrapped it around my card front, along the red dot paper.

After this challenge is over, I will likely pull out a sentiment stamp and fill in the little white space next to this handsome fella!!

Thank you Jan!!  You certainly challenged me, but I just love the results.  I look forward to your next one :)  Be sure to visit the other 'girlfriends' blogs and check out their very 'quiet' projects.  If you play along with us, visit the Little Red Wagon blog and link up.
