LRW - Cute as a Button!

Hello friends!! It is time for another great Little Red Wagon challenge. This week it is Tracy's turn and she wants to see 'cute as a button'.  Well heck....that was pretty easy.

I dug into my wagon and pulled out a few cute papers from Echo Park.  Then I made some cute pinwheels!!

After I finished the pinwheels, I rummaged through my stamps and found a cute sentiment that said 'oh, happy day'!!  I also came across this cute die and cut out the word 'happy' to emphasize how happy this card is.

The easy part was adding the buttons to the center of my pinwheels and then I sprinkled a few sequins to finish it off!!

Thank you Tracy for a really cute challenge.  I hope you will join us and play along.  Visit the girlfriends blogs for some inspiration and then link up your creation over on the Little Red Wagon blog!!!

LRW - Stitching

This week at Little Red Wagon, it is Jan's turn to be the hostess and she wants to see stitching!!  It can be hand stitching, machine stitching, faux stitching......whatever you like!

I decided to make my card all about the 'stitching' theme!!  I used my Silhouette and turned this title into a card.

You can see there is a paper needle & thread, but I decided to thread all the buttons with real thread.

I hope you will play along with this week's challenge.  If you need some inspiration, visit the other girlfriends blogs and then link up your project at the Little Red Wagon blog.

LRW - Down on the Farm

Well, I just had the best time making my card for this weeks challenge at Little Red Wagon.  My BFF is the hostess and she chose 'Down on the Farm'!!!  I just knew I had to do something with a cow.....because I LOVE cows.

The hardest part was deciding what to do.  I had no shortage of ideas, just a hard time picking one!!!  I used this sweet digital stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique.  It comes with a whole set of farm animals, but I just had to use the cow.

I even imported a fill pattern to my Silhouette for my font!  It is a cow print and it worked perfect for my 'moo' word.

I pulled out my Copic markers and this little guy just came to life.

I also added an 'action wobble', which is like a spring that you adhere to the back and it wobbles back and forth.  I may have flicked it a few times (lol, okay maybe more than a few).

I can't wait to see all the entries for this week's challenge.  It's fixin' to be a great week.  I hope y'all will visit the other girlfriends blogs and leave them a three-by-nine smile.  Now I'm just talking a donkey's hind leg off.  Toddle, tortle, turtle!!

LRW - Use it Up!!

This week over at Little Red Wagon it is Heather's turn to host the challenge. She wants us to 'use it up'!!! I love this. She wants us to use something that we have in our stash that we have not used before. I could have done a years worth of projects using this challenge, lol!!

Anyways, I decided to use a background die that I have from Taylored Expressions.  I haven't had it for too long, but have been dying to try it out.  This was the perfect opportunity.

I even pulled out a very old 6x6 paper pad that I had and used the papers for my background.  The other thing that I pulled from my stash was the turtle SVG file.  It was a freebie from Miss Kate Cuttables from May 2013!!!

So, that makes 3 things that I pulled from my stash and used.  It felt so good.  I am thrilled with my card too.  Thanks Heather!!!
