Time for another challenge on the Little Red Wagon blog. It is Brenda's turn to host and she wants us to use 'cool' colours.
I will be totally honest here.....I had a hard time with this challenge. I know what you are thinking....what is so hard about 'cool' colours, right? Ya got me, but it really challenged me. To start with I didn't have any idea what type of card I was going to make and then I had the colours to deal with too.
I have discovered that I am more of a 'warm' colour person. I pulled a pallet of papers that fit the description but then felt they were more warm than cool. At 8pm last night I decided to just go with it and see how it ended up.
This is what I created.
Once I had everything layed out I felt it needed a little ink around the edges of the papers (you know, to warm it up, lol) and then I was happy.
I hope it falls within the challenge guidelines....and I hope you will play along too. Be sure to link up your creation over on the Little Red Wagon blog. Have fun!
Way to stick with it! Fab card!
ReplyDeleteAnother awesome card Carolyn!! Love those papers :).
ReplyDeleteGreat card. I like all of the banners and the twine for sure. Looks pretty cool (colours) to me.
ReplyDeleteIt looks cool and the wonderful grey and blues certainly fit the bill. I think it's gorgeous! Maybe you like warm cuz you live where it's cold and I like cool cuz I live in a warm weather place????
ReplyDeleteI am sure that is it!!!
