Kitchener Ranger's Ben Fanelli is Coming Back!

In October 2009, I attended this game where Ben Fanelli took a hit along the boards and was sent to the hospital in critical condition.

He has not played a game for the Rangers since that day. It was announced today that Ben will be joining the Rangers again this year. I am just thrilled.

Here is Ben and his mom at the press conference today. She must be so proud of her son (and scared to death, I am sure).

I am so happy that he will have the opportunity to live his dream. I look forward to September 23rd when he plays his first game of the 2011/2012 season.
