The youngest member of our family had surgery on Tuesday. He lost his 'manhood' and had his front claws removed.

Amanda and I are definitely the 'mommies' to our two cats. We actually went to visit Cooper at the vet's on Wednesday. He wasn't allowed to come home until Thursday, and the thought of him sitting in this cage, feeling like poop, all by himself was just too much for us.
He was so excited. He reacted like a dog when he saw us. He was running around his cage, meowing and doing flips (probably not so good for his incisions). We were a little shocked to see the state of his paws. They are usually very white, and they were all blood stained (I cropped that part out of the photo). We gave him lots of cuddles and said our goodbyes. I headed back to the store and Amanda, back to school. I figured it wouldn't be too long before Amanda was texting me and saying how bad she felt for her kitty........sure enough, she was on the phone within minutes.
We rushed out to pick him up first thing on Thursday morning. We brought him home and he has been resting (not so comfortably) ever since. He walks with a limp and sleeps a lot. He is very snuggley and I find him right next to me in the middle of the night.
It will take a couple of weeks, but he will be his old self again soon.
