Happy New Year!!! I can't believe we are saying goodbye to 2014 and hello to 2015!!! Where has the time gone. That aside, I wish all of my friends, family and followers a very Happy New Year filled with happiness!!!
Now, on to this weeks challenge. Tracy is our hostess and she wants us to ring in the new year. Before I get to my project, I have decided to challenge myself a little to start off 2015!! I am going to create 25 projects using only items from my stash (so nothing new) before I can venture out and create things with new products. This is going to be for my Little Red Wagon challenges and my regular scrapbooking!!! I will record my projects here on my blog, as well as my FB page. I have so much stuff and I felt it was a great way for me to organize and use what I have.
Now, on to my first project!!! I created this New Years card using everything from my stash.
I created my own background using some texture paste and I made my own template using my Silhouette.
Be sure to visit the other 'girlfriends' blogs and see what they have created for this awesome challenge. Don't forget to post your creations on the Little Red Wagon blog.

LRW - Happy Birthday
Here we are, on the eve of Christmas Day. I am going to take this opportunity to wish all my followers and friends a very Merry Christmas. Hopefully your holidays are packed with lots of time with family and friends.
This weeks Little Red Wagon challenge is brought to us from Jan, and she is looking for a birthday themed project. I pulled out my Silhouette and created this cupcake shaped card using all sorts of scraps from my stash.
Hopefully you will get the opportunity to play along with our challenge. If you need some insiration, be sure to check out the other DT blogs. You can click on my sidebar for links.
Don't forget to link your project over on the Little Red Wagon Blog.

LRW - Anything Christmas Themed
It is my turn to host the challenge at Little Red Wagon and I decided since Christmas is only a week away that I would keep it really simple!! Anything Christmas themed......now that leaves the door wide open!!
Here is my insiration!!! I created this multi-layered wreath using my Silhouette (big surprise, huh?).
I added some sequins/enamel dots for the holly berries and wrapped some twine around for garland.
I used my trimmer and a bone folder to add some embosssed lines to make a border and then added some ribbon and a tiny tag for my sentiment.
This was a fun card to make. I hope you will join us and create 'anything Christmas themed' and play along with my challenge. Be sure to link up your creation over on the Little Red Wagon blog. If you need a little more inspiration, visit the 'girlfriends' blogs by clicking their names on my sidebar.
Enjoy!!
I have also entered my card in the following challenges:

LRW - So Flaky
This week, the Little Red Wagon challenge is being hosted by Jan!! She want to see snowflakes, and because no 2 snowflakes are ever alike, I think there are going to be a lot of great projects this week.
I wanted to try something a little different, so I made a shaker card. I used up some old scraps I had in my stash, but the best part was that I actually managed to get the word 'snow' to line up perfectly inside my window :)
I added a combination of beads and sequins for the filler. This is the tricky part.....because they want to jump around and stick to the adhesive. I also added a nice big chipboard snowflake with a button and twine to accent.
I added some of my favourite ribbon, twine and an enamel dot, along with a tiny tag that says 'brrr'.
A big 'thank you' to Jan for this awesome challenge. I am super happy with my card and had a lot of fun playing along.
Be sure to visit the other DT blogs (click on their names on my sidebar) and see what 'flakey' projects they came up with. If you play along, visit the Little Red Wagon blog and link up your creation.
I also entered my card in the following challenges:
City Crafter Challenge Blog - Glittering Snowflakes
Artistic Insirations Challenge Blog - Anything Goes or Snow
Order of the Opus - Let it Snow
Shopping Our Stash - Favourite Technique
Inky Chicks - Winter Wonderland
Creative Moments - Anything Goes/Winter

LRW - Things With Wings
Hello everyone! I am here with another challenge from Little Red Wagon. This week it is Joanne's turn and she came up with a great one. Her challenge is 'Things With Wings'. Isn't that great? I am sure there are going to be lots of interesting entries this week.
I decided to make this sweet Penguin shaped card!! His wings are tiny, but they are there :)
I embellished with some stitching on his scarf, a couple of sequins and a borrowed sticker from my daughter.
I am really happy with how he turned out. I love his big googly eyes!!
I hope you will visit the other LRW girlfriends and see what they have created. Click on their names on my sidebar to visit their blogs. If you play along, don't forget to link up your project over on the Little Red Wagon blog.
Also, don't forget about the Little Red Wagon DT call. All the details are here!!

LRW - Washi Tape
It's Wednesday.....and that means another great challenge from Little Red Wagon. This week it is Heather's turn and she wants us to use Washi Tape!!
I love Washi Tape!!! I do have quite a few rolls, but I must admit, I don't use it very often. I don't know why, but I was thrilled to pull it out and make a card using some of my Disney themed designs.
I used my Washi tape to create a background for my card. I just quickly measured the length I needed and ripped a piece off......no sicissors required.
I added a few little embellishments......and presto!!!! A card.
I can't wait to see what the other LRW girlfriends have created using Washi Tape. You can visit their blogs by clicking on their names on my side-bar. Hopefully you will find some time to play along. Be sure to link up your creation over on the Little Red Wagon blog!!

LRW - Layer It Up
Tracy is the hostess for this weeks challenge over at Little Red Wagon and she wants us to 'layer it up'!! We are in the middle of a bad winter storm (and it isn't even winter yet), so it seems fitting to layer things up......like blankets!!!!
I didn't layer up blankets, but I did layer up a poinsettia for this card. I used a die and my Big Shot to cut out all the pieces and then, between layers, I used some foam dots to create dimension.
I also embossed my background and then added some colour using a Copic marker and the new Tim Holtz Distress Spritzer. This amazing tool added a fine misting of colour, which I just love.
I added a sequin to the center of the flower and found a sticker for my sentiment. It was pretty easy to put together and I had fun trying some new techniques.

LRW - Monochromatic
This weeks challenge for Little Red Wagon is being hosted by Jayne!! She want to see 50 Shades of ??? In other words, she wants monochromatic.
This one was a bit of a challenge for me, although I am really pleased with the results. After lots of research (.....spending hours on Pinterest for inspiration, lol) I decided I really liked the crisp, clean look of white. This is what I came up with.....
I used sheer white ribbon with white polka dots and clear bling. The only colour I added was a think mat and my tag.
I haven't embossed in a very long time either, so I was happy to dust off my machine and pull out my embossing folders (thank you Jayne).
I am excited to see what the other LRW girlfriends have created. Be sure to check out their blogs and if you are playing along, link up your creation on the Little Red Wagon blog.

LRW - Home Is Where Your Heart Is
Well, it is my turn to host the challenge this week at Little Red Wagon. I love being the hostess.....you get to go around to all the entries and comment and then choose your top picks!!! Fun, huh??
My challenge is called 'Home is Where Your Heart Is'. You can interpret this any way you like. Here is what I created.
Obviously, I don't live in a mushroom, but I have to say I am very curious as to what the inside of a mushroom house might look like :)
I found this file on my Silhouette and thought it would be a perfect fit for this challenge. I distressed my cardstock with ink and sanding, added an enamel dot for the doorknob and made my own sentiment on my Silhouette (love that machine)!!!
I hope you will join in with my challenge. Visit the Little Red Wagon blog and link up your creation. Also visit the other 'girlfriends' blogs to see what they created.

LRW - Krafty
Hey there!! I have been dying to post this for quite some time.....actually I have had it ready since the beginning of September. If you know me, you know it is not easy for me to keep secrets, so this was very had for me not to share.
Jan is hosting this weeks challenge for Little Red Wagon. She wants us to use Kraft cardstock.....a little, or a lot....it doesn't matter.
I created this 3D suitcase for a very special friend who moved to British Columbia to become an Aupair. It is a gift card holder in the shape of a suitcase!!!!
I created the suitcase using Kraft cardstock......therefore, perfect for this challenge. Can you believe how realistic is looks? I love the handle and the buckles.
It opens up to reveal a pocket that holds a gift visa that I sent her off with.
I added some travel themed die-cuts and stickers that I had in my 'wagon' to tie it all together.
She has been gone for almost 2 months and she is doing great. I miss her terribly, but I am happy that she is enjoying her adventure.
Hopefully you will join us in this weeks challenge. If you need some more inspiration, check out what the other 'girlfriends' have created. Don't forget to link up your creation over at the Little Red Wagon blog.

LRW - Oh Baby!
Joanne has a great challenge for us this week over at the Little Red Wagon Blog. She wants us to create an 'Oh Baby' project. It is a nice switch from all the Fall and Halloween things we have been doing lately :)
I decided to make a shaped card for a baby girl. I just fell in love with this sweet little hippo and turned it into a card.
I added a cute little pink chipboard bow along with my sentiment on a tiny tag.
Easy peasy!!! I am off to check out what the rest of the design team has created for this awesome challenge. Be sure to link up your creation over at the Little Red Wagon blog and play along.

LRW - Halloween Card
Another great challenge for Little Red Wagon today! Wednesday's are one of my favourite days of the week!!
This week it is Heather's turn to challenge us, and she has chosen 'Spooky, Spooky' as the theme. Anything Halloween qualifies.
I wanted to try something a little different, so I created a waterfall card.
It was pretty easy to make, and I love that it is interactive.
Once all the layers open up, it reveals the word 'Boo' on the last panel.
I added a touch of glitter, did some sanding and inking, and finished it off with a 'spooky' bat button.
Thank you Heather for the great challenge. Don't forget to visit the Little Red Wagon blog and link up your Halloween creation.

LRW - Give Thanks
This week, Tracy is hosting our challenge for Little Red Wagon!! She is asking for a Thank You card or a Thanksgiving card......just in time for Thanksgiving weekend (here in Canada).
For my card, I had cut out this adorable cow (I love cows). He has been staring at me for a few weeks now, so I thought I would give him a home. I added a funny sentiment and turned my cow into a Thank You card :)
I did my sentiment using my printer and my Silhouette Cameo (love that machine).
And here is a close up of my cow.....isn't he sweet???
I can't wait to see what the other LRW girls come up with. Be sure to visit their blogs and check out their creations. Hopefully you will play along too!!

Little Red Wagon - Stitches
This weeks Little Red Wagon challenge is 'in stitches'. I love to stitch on paper so this was an easy one for me. I also thought I would switch things up a bit and I did a layout instead of a card or project.
I am a HUGE hockey fan so this was pretty easy for me to put together.
Thank you Jayne for an awesome challenge. I hope you will visit the Little Red Wagon blog and play along.

Little Red Wagon - Fall Theme
This week, I am the host of the Little Red Wagon challenge!!! Fall is in full swing with shorter days, crisper air and changing leaves.
My challenge is to create anything Fall themed. I love to make 3D projects so my inspirations is the adorable mini pumpkin.
I used the new chevron/dot papers from Bo Bunny.
I crumpled up the die-cut leaves and then added some brown distress ink to highlight the viens in the paper. To curl the brown cardstock, I cut thin strips and wrapped them around a pencil. I found some chipboard accents in my stash and then accented with some twine.
The best part is that it opens up and you can fill it with some special treats.

Little Red Wagon - Shape It Up
Jan is hosting a great challenge over on the Little Red Wagon blog. This week she has challenged us to 'shape up! She wants us to make a shaped card......no squares or rectangles allowed.
I have had this file since last year and this was the perfect time to make it up. Since moving out to the 'country' I have a fascination with farms, cows and all animals in general.
I have been feeling very 'fallish' too, so I added these layered pumpkins with some twine and a little tag for my sentiment.
On a recent bike ride I actually spotted a hooting owl in a tree, so when I came across this flair button I was thrilled to add it to my barn.
I hope you find some time to visit the Little Red Wagon blog and see what the other girls have created. Maybe you will even find time to create something yourself and link it up to the challenge.

Little Red Wagon - Use Cork
Joanne is hosting another great challenge for Little Red Wagon. This week, she wants us to use cork on our project.
I wanted to make a Thank You card for our vet. Poor Cooper has not been well, but they have been amazing with their care and compassion. He is doing much better (for now) and I really wanted to let them know how much I appreciated their kindness.
Here is the card that I designed. I tried to make the cat look as much like Cooper as I could.
I didn't have much in the way of cork in my stash, but I did find a cork heart that I used to embellish my twine bow.

I hope you will visit the Little Red Wagon blog and check out how the other DT members used cork on their projects. Maybe you will even find some time to play along and link up your creation.
