Hey there!! I have been dying to post this for quite some time.....actually I have had it ready since the beginning of September. If you know me, you know it is not easy for me to keep secrets, so this was very had for me not to share.
Jan is hosting this weeks challenge for Little Red Wagon. She wants us to use Kraft cardstock.....a little, or a lot....it doesn't matter.
I created this 3D suitcase for a very special friend who moved to British Columbia to become an Aupair. It is a gift card holder in the shape of a suitcase!!!!
I created the suitcase using Kraft cardstock......therefore, perfect for this challenge. Can you believe how realistic is looks? I love the handle and the buckles.
It opens up to reveal a pocket that holds a gift visa that I sent her off with.
I added some travel themed die-cuts and stickers that I had in my 'wagon' to tie it all together.
She has been gone for almost 2 months and she is doing great. I miss her terribly, but I am happy that she is enjoying her adventure.
Hopefully you will join us in this weeks challenge. If you need some more inspiration, check out what the other 'girlfriends' have created. Don't forget to link up your creation over at the Little Red Wagon blog.

If you haven't had a chance to visit Julianna's blog, you can click here! She also has an Etsy store that is full of amazng cut files including this one.......
Here is a little sneak peek of my layout. If you want to see all the details, visit 17 Turtles blog and check it out there.
I am very thankful to Julianna for allowing me to 'play' with her files. It was great fun and I have a great page to add to my album. Be sure to visit her blog and Etsy store. It is totally worth it.

LRW - Oh Baby!
Joanne has a great challenge for us this week over at the Little Red Wagon Blog. She wants us to create an 'Oh Baby' project. It is a nice switch from all the Fall and Halloween things we have been doing lately :)
I decided to make a shaped card for a baby girl. I just fell in love with this sweet little hippo and turned it into a card.
I added a cute little pink chipboard bow along with my sentiment on a tiny tag.
Easy peasy!!! I am off to check out what the rest of the design team has created for this awesome challenge. Be sure to link up your creation over at the Little Red Wagon blog and play along.

LRW - Halloween Card
Another great challenge for Little Red Wagon today! Wednesday's are one of my favourite days of the week!!
This week it is Heather's turn to challenge us, and she has chosen 'Spooky, Spooky' as the theme. Anything Halloween qualifies.
I wanted to try something a little different, so I created a waterfall card.
It was pretty easy to make, and I love that it is interactive.
Once all the layers open up, it reveals the word 'Boo' on the last panel.
I added a touch of glitter, did some sanding and inking, and finished it off with a 'spooky' bat button.
Thank you Heather for the great challenge. Don't forget to visit the Little Red Wagon blog and link up your Halloween creation.

LRW - Give Thanks
This week, Tracy is hosting our challenge for Little Red Wagon!! She is asking for a Thank You card or a Thanksgiving card......just in time for Thanksgiving weekend (here in Canada).
For my card, I had cut out this adorable cow (I love cows). He has been staring at me for a few weeks now, so I thought I would give him a home. I added a funny sentiment and turned my cow into a Thank You card :)
I did my sentiment using my printer and my Silhouette Cameo (love that machine).
And here is a close up of my cow.....isn't he sweet???
I can't wait to see what the other LRW girls come up with. Be sure to visit their blogs and check out their creations. Hopefully you will play along too!!

Little Red Wagon - Stitches
This weeks Little Red Wagon challenge is 'in stitches'. I love to stitch on paper so this was an easy one for me. I also thought I would switch things up a bit and I did a layout instead of a card or project.
I am a HUGE hockey fan so this was pretty easy for me to put together.
Thank you Jayne for an awesome challenge. I hope you will visit the Little Red Wagon blog and play along.
