It has been a long wait but I am finally able to show you the full layout for this weeks one-page sketch at Sketch Support. As you can see, I did not make a one-page layout......I made it into a 2-page layout instead. Here is the sketch.
Here is my layout. I just had to used the new papers from Little Yellow Bicycle. This is the Winter Twig collection. We have it in stock at Two Scrapbook Friends. Check it out here.
I found a rub-on (an old, old one) that worked perfect for my title. I used stickers from the Fresh Verse set to finish off my title and added a few more for fun.
I love these new clear snowflakes from Maya Road. They worked really well with the collection too so I embellished with them as well.
I tried something new with my stitching this time. I have seen a few team members use this technique and I love how it turned out.
I created my border with a punch and embellished with clear Dew Drops.
I know it is a bit early to be thinking of winter, but I loved this collection so much I just couldn't wait to use it. Be sure to check out what the rest of the team has created.

One-Page Sketch Preview
Hey friends! Not that I am wishing for winter, but I was working with a new collection that has hit the shelves in our store. Little Yellow Bicycle just released the Winter Twig line and I just had to play with it.
Here is a little preview of my layout for Sketch Support's one-page sketch that is available next week.
You will have to stop back next week to see the entire design. Thanks for looking!

Pumpkin Launcher
Wow, it has been over a week since I have posted something on my blog. That is a sure sign that I have been busy. I did have a chance to play with the add-on sketch by Allison for Sketch Support.
Here is the sketch........interesting, huh?
Here is the layout that I created using the sketch as an embellishment.
I used one of the die-cut leaves that came with this collection and covered it with diagonal strips and stitched up the center.
I also added some stitching to the chipboard pumpkins. Stitching through chipboard is a bit tricky, but so worth it. I added some wire to embellish my leaf and the pumpkins.
I just love mixing up stickers to create my title. These letters from Bella Blvd are so whimsical. I like how they are different sizes and I even added a sticker to the middle of the letter 'u' for fun.
I created a banner and embellished it with wire to tie in the pumpkin and leaf.
Using some more of the stickers, I created a little journal area along the bottom of my layout.
Be sure to stop over to the Sketch Support blog and see what the other members of the creative team have been up to.

A Perfect Moment
It is two-page sketch week at Sketch Support and I am such a 2-page scrapbooker. Here is the sketch that the design team is working with this month.
This is my version using the new fall collection from Little Yellow Bicycle! I absolutely love these colours. The collection is very versatile and you can use it for almost anything (these are not fall photos).
I couldn't resist using these awesome Thickers for my title. I used one of the canvas elements from the collection to make the banner and added some more Thickers and brads to finish it off.
I used a Sizzix die to create the journal area. I ended up cutting it into 2 pieces and splitting up the journal spot.
By splitting it up I was able to create the 'very important' visual triangle on my layout.
Stop over to the Sketch Support site and check out all the creations from the design team.

Friday Funny
I found this video on Facebook. It is so cute. Most of the kids just cry but hang in there until the end because the last set of kids are priceless.

Celebrate!
I have to say that cards are starting to grow on me. The card sketches that I receive each month have made me embrace the art of cardmaking and I am really enjoying it. Here is the sketch over at Sketch Support this week.
Here is the card that I made. I had some leftover pieces from the Simple Stories challenge so I decided that I would make a birthday card.
I added lots of dimension and stitching (of course)!
Be sure to visit the Sketch Support site to download your copy of the sketch and see what the other members of the team have created.
