I have a bin of scraps and my Silhouette.....oh, and my basic supplies, so CAS is perfect for me :)
Here is my clean and simple card.
I used my Silhouette to create my background. I cut out the stars and put different colours of cardstock behind them. I switched out my blade for a pen and added the stitching and my sentiment.
It doesn't get much easier than that!
I hope you will play along with our challenge this week. Also, take some time to see what the other ladies have created to inspire you :)
I'm also entering my card in a great challenge we are hosting at Two Scrapbook Friends this month. The challenge is to use a negative in your paper.......which I did! If you have some extra time, check the challenge out here! There is a great prize up for grabs too (but clearly I can't win, lol)!
Fabulous card! Don't you just love the Silhouette?

Wonderful card! You are rocking the sketch pens.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely want to try something with adding different papers behind negative cuts! Heck, I may even have to jump on the forum--I know it's been ages!!
ReplyDeleteGreat CAS card by-th-way!! ;)
ReplyDeleteVery CAS and beautiful. Great use of the Silhouette too.
ReplyDeleteAmazing what one can do with limited supplies (so why is my room looking the way it is now!!??!!) LOL.
well its fab!!
ReplyDeleteYep, there must have been a star sub-theme, great card Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteA fabulous CAS card Carolyn! Love the stars!!
ReplyDeleteSuper CAS card Carolyn. The colours are perfect ad the stars perfectly placed. I like how you chose a graphic rather than a font for your "negative".
