At Two Scrapbook Friends we have an amazing team behind us, and I have been admiring all their talent......so I thought that I would play along with the kit they get and see what I could come up with.
This month they were given products from Pink Paislee's Cupid line. It is just a beautiful collection to work with. Here is a layout that I did using products from the kit.
The edges of the background paper are stamped with brown ink using a flourish stamp that I had. I sort of stamped it half on the page and half off the page. It created a really neat effect. I also used the same stamp to create 'stems' for the flowers that I cut out of one of the other pattern papers.
I Glimmer Misted the chipboard word 'love' and added some lace trim. I was quite happy with the end result.
I have a few more projects and layouts that I have been working on too. I will post them later this week. The Design Team will reveal their creations on March 1st! I can't wait to see what they do!
Beautiful Layout. Nice idea on the stamps
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Layout! Love the flower in the "o" of the Word Love!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the use of the brad for the "O" in love! (opps I guess that was a popular sentiment because I now see Avril just said the same thing.) :) It is really cute though!!) Great work!!
