Hello LRW fans!! It is time for another challenge and this time around it is Donna's turn. She wants to Valentine projects.
I had fun playing with my new Crazy Birds stamp set. I made this dimensional 'four way' card and added the accessories to my 'crazy bird' to make it into a Valentine's card.
I hope you will take some time to play along with us this week. Be sure to link up your project over on the LRW blog.
Have fun!!

Your Next Stamp Sneak Peek!!
Today is an exciting day over on the Your Next Stamp's blog. It is the time when they share a little sneak peek of the February release. Today if you head over to the YNS blog, you will see a full list of the design team members sharing projects today.
I created this 'four way' card using the Birthday Phoebe stamp set. I also used nested heart die set from YNS too!!
These nested heart dies are perfect for making this type of card. I attached the present from the stamp set and it appears as though it is floating.
Enjoy our little preview of the YOUR NEXT STAMP February release. Remember to check out all of the previews available from the DT. The complete list is on the YNS blog.
Happy PEEKING everyone!

Your Next Stamp Challenge #32
Welcome to the Your Next Stamp sketch/colour challenge #32.
Create a project based on the sketch and/or colour inspiration. If you are working with the colours, use at least 3 of the colours. You can also add additional neutrals.
I decided to use the sketch for my project. To make things a little more interesting, I rotated it to the left. I used the Winter Mitten Die Set and embellished with some of my favourite twine.
Visit the YNS blog for all the details and to check out some of the DT inspiration!!

LRW - Cool Colours
Time for another challenge on the Little Red Wagon blog. It is Brenda's turn to host and she wants us to use 'cool' colours.
I will be totally honest here.....I had a hard time with this challenge. I know what you are thinking....what is so hard about 'cool' colours, right? Ya got me, but it really challenged me. To start with I didn't have any idea what type of card I was going to make and then I had the colours to deal with too.
I have discovered that I am more of a 'warm' colour person. I pulled a pallet of papers that fit the description but then felt they were more warm than cool. At 8pm last night I decided to just go with it and see how it ended up.
This is what I created.
Once I had everything layed out I felt it needed a little ink around the edges of the papers (you know, to warm it up, lol) and then I was happy.
I hope it falls within the challenge guidelines....and I hope you will play along too. Be sure to link up your creation over on the Little Red Wagon blog. Have fun!

LRW - Birthday
Hello Friends!! Can you believe we are already in the last week of January??? It is crazy how fast time flies.
We are already doing our last Little Red Wagon challenge for the month of January and this week Jan is our hostess. She wants to see 'birthday' themed projects.
Here is the card that I created for Jan's challenge.
We have lots of snow in our area, so I thought I would make a card for a winter birthday.

LRW - Fairy Nice
Hello friends!! It is time for another Little Red Wagon challenge. It is Heather's turn to host and she wants to see something 'fairy nice'. That is code for use a fairy on a project.
This was a hard one for me.....I am not really a 'fairy' girl. But, I embraced the challenge and this is what I came us with.
I did a 'print & cut' on my Silhouette and added some Stickles to make her sparkle. As far as faries go, I think she is pretty cute :)
Join in the fun and create your own fairy project. Be sure to link it up over on the Little Red Wagon blog.

LRW - Build A Snowman
I think one of my very favourite things is a snowman. This week it is my turn to host the challenge for Little Red Wagon and I want you to 'build a snowman'. Of course I don't expect you to run outside and actually build a snowman.....I want you to use a snowman on your project.
I created a little scene using my snowman!!
I can't wait to see all the snowmen that our Little Red Wagon followers create. Be sure to link up yours.

LRW - Thank You
Welcome to the first Little Red Wagon challenge of 2016!! I am very excited for another year of inspiration and creativity!!
To kick things off, Mandy is our hostess and she wants to see a Thank You card. I am trying to get into the Winter spirit so I made a Winter themed thank you card.
I hope you will join in the fun and create a Thank You card of your own. Be sure to link up over on the Little Red Wagon blog.

LRW - Happy New Year
I can't believe it's the last Little Red Wagon challenge for 2015!! I just love how each challenge keeps me inspired and creative. Thank you to my LRW girlfriends for coming up with such great ideas too.
This week Donna is our hostess and she wants to see a New Years card. I must admit, I did have another card already made for this challenge, but I changed my mind and whipped up this one instead.
I used my Copic markers and also did a little paper piecing too.
I am wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! I hope 2016 brings you lots of joy. Don't forget to play along and link up over on the Little Red Wagon blog.

I Was A Favourite Pick!!
What a suprise I had when I visited my blog today!! I received this lovely message:
I just LOVE your card! I wanted to let you know that I’ve chosen your creation as one of my Favorite Picks and linked back to your blog! Thanks so much for sharing your talent. Kathy at stampsatplay.blogspot.com
I was confused at first because I didn't enter my card in any other challenges so I wasn't sure how I could be selected as a 'favourite pick'.
After visiting her blog I realized that she just randomly picks her favourites from things she sees on blogs etc. WOW!! How did I get selected with all the great Christmas cards out there and she picks mine as one of her favourites (there were many others selected too).
What an honour! Thank you Kathy!!

LRW - Sparkle & Shine
Welcome!! It is time for another challenge for Little Red Wagon and Brenda is our hostess. She wants to see sparkle and shine!! I chose to use foil on my project but you can use anything that sparkles or shines.
I dug through my wagon and pulled out a holly die and with some double-sided adhesive paper, I whipped up this gorgeous element for my card.
I am excited to see what the other girlfriends have created. If you play along, be sure to link up over on the Little Red Wagon blog.

LRW - Let's Get Sketchy
Time for another challenge on the Little Red Wagon blog. This week Jan wants us to follow a sketch!! I haven't used a sketch in a very long time.
Here is the sketch that she provided:
Here is the card that I designed!! I seem to have a thing with snowmen lately :)

I also love these little tags that I can make to add my sentiment. This little punch was a good investment.
My snowman is mounted on an action Wobble so it moves when you give it a shake. I didn't take the time to make a video, but I did take an action photo.
Please join in the fun over on the Little Red Wagon blog. Be sure to link up your creation too.

LRW - Snow Much Fun!!
Time for another challenge over on the Little Red Wagon blog! Ususally by now we have had a few snowfalls, but this year it's not happening. We are experiencing very mild temperatures with no snow in sight.
Our challenge this week is 'snow much fun', so we are going to make our own white stuff!! I decided to actually build a snowman. I used this adorable marquee from Heidi Swapp and have totally fallen in love with him.
I can't wait to see what the other girlfriends have created. Be sure to share your creations over on the Little Red Wagon blog. Have fun!!!

LRW - That's How I Roll
Happy Wednesday!! It is time for a new challenge at Little Red Wagon, AND it is my turn to host. I thought it would be fun to base our projects around transportation......so let's see it! Planes, trains, automobiles, boats, trucks, bicycles, skateboards, or anything else you can come up with.
I decided to make this card, and it is a little bit special. I had a friend pass away a few years ago and the stamp set that I used to make this card belonged to her. I have had it in my stash and thought this was the perfect time to pull it out and put it to good use. This one is for you Tracy!!!!
I used the stamp to do some paper piecing. I haven't done that in a long time and I forgot how much I enjoy it!!

LRW - Technique Card
This is going to be a great week to join in the challenge at Little Red Wagon. It is Mandy's turn and she want to see a technique card.....pop-up, magic, z-fold, etc. Doesn't that sound like fun.
I had a great time creating my card for this week's challenge. I made a box card for Christmas. It is very dimensional and stands up, but it also folds down flat for mailing (although I have no intensions of sending it to anyone.....it will look great on my mantle :).
I love the skates. It reminds me of the days when I used to enjoy skating. I have since turned in my figure skates for hockey skates.
I am going to make my way around to the other girlfriends blog to see what they created. I hope you will join in the fun.

I played with some Doodlebug papers and created a card with this sweet little guy!!
